So my computer has been misbehaving all week. I’ve probably installed Windows like 5 times in the past 2-3 days. Done all kind of crazy things to try and get things working. Started to panic when it seemed that I would lose all of my personal stuff. And ran an 18 hour disk scan that didn’t find anything wrong. Prior to running the 18 hour scan I ran a brief scan that went insanely slow and listed a bunch of “cable errors” so before I ran the full scan I swapped the cable. After the scan I was able to backup all my stuff successfully. I wiped the drive clean and reinstalled Windows. I even did full formats instead of quick formats…
Anyway, things seem to be running smooth so far. Now it’s just a mater of installing all the stuff I use. I’ll probably do just the essential stuff for now and see how stable the machine is over the next few days.

Tool!
So I went to go to see Tool on Saturday with my friend who happens to be a girl Katie ^_~ . It was a pretty awesome show though Maynard didn’t really say too much which kind of sucks. They played:
Stinkfist
The Pot
Forty Six & 2
Jambi
Schism
Lost Keys
Rosetta Stoned
Wings For Marie
10,000 Days
Lateralus
Happy Birthday (!)
Vicarious
Ænema
I stole the above from Toolshed, specifically from this forum thread. He mentioned something about the Canadian dollar doing well so we should buy the US and that’s it
. And yes we did sing Happy Birthday for a mysterious “Carol” person. I think it was after Lateralus but I’m not really sure. He was apparently wearing a Leafs jersey that said “Keenan” on the back but I’m pretty blind so I couldn’t see that.
Now to face the reality that I’m going to be 30+ by the time they come back
.
I’m back!
I have returned from Italy and I must say it was an incredible experience that I wish never ended.
I met so many people, including many family members for the first time. I saw the sea which was really nice but unfortunately it rained a lot so I was only able to go once. I also ended up going to Venice, Milan and Rome for 6 days by myself which was kind of cool but I learned rather quickly that I’m not a solo traveler. I deeply regretted leaving the comforts of my parents’ respective towns and missed the company of my relatives.
At least I’ll know better for next time
